Engaging stakeholders

We believe it is important to hold a continuous and open dialogue with our stakeholders. With a multitude of diverse voices, our stakeholders’ insights help us to innovate and prioritise actions within our sustainability work.

Throughout the year, we have regular dialogues with different stakeholders such as customers, colleagues, communities, suppliers, industry peers, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), inter-governmental organisations (IGOs), policymakers and investors. We do this on a day-to-day basis, through regular roundtables on a global and local level, focusing on stakeholder reviews, strategy consultations, dedicated surveys and participation in several multi-stakeholder initiatives.

Collaboration to tackle challenges together

We collaborate with our stakeholders in order to tackle some of the major challenges in our industry faces. These challenges impact everyone along our value chain and cannot be solved through any one company working alone. For example, promoting fair living wages in the textile industry.

To further strengthen our work, we are involved in a number of local and global industry collaborations, partnerships and multi-stakeholder initiatives. These include organisations such as; the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC), the Fair Wage Network (FWN), Better Work and the Roadmap to Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals, to mention just a few.
